Ordering & shipping

Are research peptides legal to buy in the UK?

Yes — research peptides are legal to purchase in the United Kingdom when sold strictly for laboratory research use. Every product on ThePeptideCode is labelled “research use only” and is not for human or veterinary consumption.

How long does UK delivery take?

Orders placed before 2 pm UK time are dispatched the same working day. UK Express tracked delivery typically arrives within 1–2 working days. Standard delivery is free on orders over £100.

How much is UK shipping?

UK Express is £6.99 (tracked, 1–2 days). Standard delivery is free on orders over £100. We also ship to the EU (£14.99) and 13 international destinations (£23.99).

Do you ship to the EU?

Yes. We ship to all 26 listed EU countries at a flat £14.99 rate. Delivery typically arrives within 3–7 working days depending on the destination and customs processing.

Is the packaging discreet?

Yes. All orders ship in plain, unbranded outer packaging with no peptide-related labelling visible on the exterior.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Every UK Express and EU order ships with a tracking number, sent to your email once the package leaves our facility.

Product quality

How do you verify the purity of your peptides?

Every batch is tested by an ISO 17025-accredited independent laboratory using HPLC (purity), mass spectrometry (identity), and where applicable Karl Fischer titration (water content) and LAL testing (endotoxin). A unique batch ID lets you look up the certificate on our verification page.

What purity level do your peptides reach?

Our typical purity threshold is ≥99%. Several recent batches have measured at 99.32%–99.69%. We publish individual batch certificates so you can see the exact figure for the vial you received.

Can I see a Certificate of Analysis (CoA) before I buy?

Yes. Sample batch certificates for Retatrutide and KLOW80 are public on our verification pages. Once you place an order we email the certificate for your specific batch ID.

How are peptides delivered — liquid or powder?

Peptides are delivered as a lyophilised (freeze-dried) powder in a sealed glass vial. You reconstitute them with bacteriostatic water before research use.

Reconstitution & dosage

How do I reconstitute a research peptide?

Slowly inject the calculated volume of bacteriostatic water down the inside of the vial wall — do not squirt directly onto the powder. Swirl gently until fully dissolved. See our full reconstitution guide for sterile technique and dosage maths.

How much bacteriostatic water do I add?

It depends on the peptide strength and your desired concentration. As a rule of thumb, 2 ml of bacteriostatic water added to a 10 mg vial gives 5 mg/ml; 1 ml gives 10 mg/ml. The full table is on our reconstitution page.

How long do reconstituted peptides last?

Most reconstituted peptides remain stable in the fridge at 2–8 °C for 30–60 days, depending on the compound. For longer storage, single-use aliquots can be frozen at −20 °C. See storage guide for per-compound timings.

Can I freeze reconstituted peptides?

Yes — most peptides tolerate one freeze cycle when stored at −20 °C in single-use aliquots. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles; each cycle accelerates degradation.

What is bacteriostatic water and why is it used?

Bacteriostatic water is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol, which inhibits bacterial growth. It is the standard solvent for reconstituting multi-use research peptide vials.

Legal & safety

Are peptides for human use?

No. Every product on ThePeptideCode is for laboratory research use only. They are not approved for human or veterinary consumption, diagnostic, or therapeutic application.

Do I need to be over 21 to order?

Yes. Our terms of service require a minimum age of 21 to place an order. The site presents an age-verification gate on first visit.

Can I import peptides into the EU from the UK?

EU buyers are responsible for compliance with their local research-import rules. Customs may hold packages for clearance. We provide tracking and a CoA to help with documentation.

Returns & refunds

Can I return a peptide I have already opened?

No. Once a vial is opened, the contents cannot be returned. We offer full refunds for items damaged on arrival or shipped incorrectly, reported within 14 days.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Email support@thepeptidecode.co.uk with photos of the damage within 14 days. We will arrange a replacement or full refund.

When will I get my refund?

Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 working days.

Payments

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, Clearpay, and UK direct bank transfer (BACS). All card payments go through PCI-DSS-compliant processors.

My payment failed — what should I do?

Card declines are usually triggered by your bank’s fraud rules or 3-D Secure step-up. Try a different card, or pay by bank transfer (BACS). See our payment help page.

Will my card statement show ThePeptideCode?

The merchant descriptor on your statement reads “ThePeptideCode LTD” or a shortened variant. If you do not recognise a charge, contact us before disputing.
